Let's Hope it's Sunny Tomorrow
The story introduces Taiyo Mukai, a hardworking high school student living a grueling double life. To support his struggling mother and three younger siblings, Taiyo wakes up before dawn to sell food to golfers at the Arakawa River and works multiple part-time jobs. At school, he is exhausted and unrefined, running "side hustles" that range from selling predicted exam questions to collecting debts. His wealthy classmate, Etsuko Shiraishi, is initially baffled by his obsession with money but discovers his secret: Taiyo is a golfing prodigy with professional-level skills, driven by a dream to become a pro golfer to escape poverty.
